Flowery nail art

Hi everyone,

I was wearing this nail art last week and everyone thought they were so cute so here’s how I did them.
Flower nail art design

I started with a Herôme ridgefilling basecoat and then used China Glaze – White on White as a white colour base.

For the bigger blue flowers I used a dotting tool (by Essence, but you can use a toothppick or a wooden stick or anything else that has the size you like, that is round and that you can either throw away or clean with nailpolish remover).

As my first colour I chose OPI – Ogre-the-Top Blue and placed some of the polish on a plastic card that I was planning on throwing out anyway (dipping into the polish jar is not advised, you could have too much product on your dotting tool or accidentally spill polish). Then I dotted 5 dots overlapping, sometimes leaving the white in the middle, sometimes filling it up. I placed them random and even added some dots at the edge. I did leave space for pink flowers though.

Next I did the same only using a slightly smaller dotting tool (the other end of the Essence one I was using before) and OPI – Miami Beet. I did a few flowers and some random dots filling every nail until I was satisfied with the look.

It didn’t take very long and the results made my nephew say that my nails were “pretty”. A small baby I was babysitting was playing with my fingers mesmerized by my nails as well, so that was funny.

Try it out, it’s fun to do.

Have an amazing day.
